Cecil Cooper - Jamaica
Cecil Harvey Cooper was born 1946 in Great Valley, Jamaica. He died in 2016.
He was one of the leading figures in the Caribbean. His paintings are in many private and public collection, e.g. in Jamaica, USA and Canada.
Since 1981 he was chairman of the Department of Painting at the Edna Manlay School for Visual and Performing Arts in Kingston, Jamaica. It is one of the biggest and most important school in the englishspeaking Caribbean.
